Hey, I'm Obrist!
Evangelist Obrist Buasa, born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, moved to the United States in 2010 and has since become a dynamic voice for the gospel. A devoted husband to Gabriela Buasa and father of three, Obrist is a U.S. Army veteran who served honorably for four years. He is the founder and president of Church of the Chosen and Obrist Buasa Ministries, where he leads with a vision to bring salvation, healing, and deliverance to people worldwide. A graduate of Reinhard Bonnke's School of Evangelism, Obrist has been deeply shaped by the mentorship of his spiritual father, Dr. Salem Lugano, and the influence of Bishop Mapasa Baolimo, Pastor Bienvenu Lugano, Prophet Kiala Kimbembe, Pastor Ezechiel Lokango, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda, Evangelist Levi Lutz, and Evangelist Gary Smith. His ministry, marked by powerful preaching and the demonstration of God’s power, continues to inspire and impact lives across the globe.

What we believe
We believe in one God who is the Creator of all, revealed Himself as the Son in redemption, and now indwells believers as the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.
We believe that sin has separated humanity from God, hindering His purpose for our lives. Only through Jesus Christ can this relationship be restored.
We believe that Jesus Christ, both fully God and fully human, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead to bring us redemption and victory. He is the only way to reconciliation with God.
We believe that water baptism is an outward declaration of faith and new life in Christ, and that the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live holy lives and operate in spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues.
We believe in the importance of the Church as the body of Christ, where believers gather for worship, fellowship, prayer, and communion. Together, we grow in faith and fulfill God’s mission.
We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
